Itochu REIT Management Acquires Two Residential Properties in Tokyo

Itochu REIT Management Co., Ltd. announced on October 29 that it will acquire the trust beneficiary interests in two rental apartment properties — “Residia Gakugei-daigaku” (formerly “Literras Gakugei-daigaku”) in Meguro Ward and “Residia Takadanobaba” (formerly “Terrace Takadanobaba West”) in Shinjuku Ward.

Residia Gakugei-daigaku is located approximately a 12-minute walk from Gakugei-daigaku Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. Completed in 2002, the property comprises seven stories above ground and one below, with a gross floor area of 3,169.25 square meters (approx. 34,115 sq. ft.) and a total of 36 units. The acquisition price is JPY 2.5 billion.

Residia Takadanobaba is located about a 12-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station, served by JR, Tokyo Metro, and Seibu lines. Completed in 2024, the property rises six stories above ground, with a gross floor area of 1,632.87 square meters (approx. 17,580 sq. ft.) and a total of 40 units. The acquisition price is JPY 1.83 billion.

Itochu Urban Community is expected to serve as both the master lessee and property manager for both properties.
