Sun Frontier to Develop 156-Room Hiyori Hotel in Okinawa’s Nago City
Sun Frontier Hotel Management Inc. announced on August 28, 2025, that it has begun development of Hiyori Hotel Okinawa Nago in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture. The hotel is slated to open in July 2027.
The site is about a seven-minute drive from the “Isagawa” interchange on the Nago East Road and roughly 70 minutes from Naha Airport. The property will feature 156 guestrooms with a gross floor area of 4,396.54 square meters (approx. 47,300 sq. ft.). The guestrooms will primarily consist of twin rooms designed for three guests and Japanese-modern style rooms accommodating four.
The company positions hotel development and operations as part of its regional revitalization strategy, aiming to expand its resort portfolio and strengthen earnings as inbound demand recovers.
