Mitsui ＆ Co. Real Estate and Tokyo Tatemono to Jointly Develop Cold Storage Logistics Facility in Funabashi
On October 6, 2025, Mitsui ＆ Co. Real Estate announced a plan to jointly develop a temperature-controlled logistics facility, “(Tentative Name) T-LOGI Funabashi Minami-Kaijin,” in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, together with Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. This marks Mitsui ＆ Co. Real Estate’s first participation in a refrigerated and frozen logistics facility project.
The site is located 0.6 kilometers from the Funabashi Interchange on the Keiyo Expressway and approximately 20 kilometers from central Tokyo. The facility will be a four-story structure with a gross floor area of approximately 3,119 tsubo (approx. 103,100 sq. ft.). Construction is scheduled to begin in February 2026, with completion expected in October 2027.
