Sohgo Housing to Develop Hotel in Central Sapporo
Sohgo Housing announced on September 19 its plan to develop a hotel in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. The company will acquire and develop a portion of the land jointly purchased in August by Marubeni Real Estate and Haseko Corporation from Marubeni Real Estate.
The project site is located within a commercial district, a four-minute walk from the “Higashi-Honganji-mae” stop on the Sapporo Streetcar and a seven-minute walk from “Susukino” Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line. The building will rise 11 stories above ground and will feature approximately 200 guest rooms. Daiwa House Industry will be responsible for design and construction.
