Hankyu Hanshin Begins Construction on Urban Logistics Hub in Kyoto’s Fushimi Ward

In May 2025, Hankyu Hanshin Properties commenced construction on “Logista Kyoto Fushimi,” a new logistics facility located in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City. The four-story, box-type building will span a total floor area of approximately 3,400 tsubo (approx. 112,200 sq. ft.) and is slated for completion at the end of July 2026. Positioned close to Kyoto’s urban core, the facility is being developed as a last-mile delivery hub optimized for dense city logistics.
The site offers excellent connectivity, situated about 5.9 km from the Kyoto-Minami Interchange on the Meishin Expressway and 6.4 km from the Fushimi Interchange on the Daini Keihan Expressway. In addition to serving the broader Kansai region, the facility is expected to provide highly efficient access for last-mile distribution into central Kyoto.
