Kubota Relocates Headquarters to Grand Green Osaka
Kubota relocated its headquarters as of May 1, 2026. The new headquarters is located in Grand Green Osaka Park Tower in Ofukacho, Kita Ward, Osaka, and began operations on May 7.
The former headquarters consisted of five buildings completed around 1970, and the company had faced challenges including aging facilities and a shortage of office space. Kubota said it is considering ways to utilize the former headquarters site that would contribute to the growth and development of the surrounding area, with specific plans to be announced at a later date.
The relocation destination, Grand Green Osaka Park Tower, is an office tower completed at the end of November 2024 and directly connected to JR Osaka Station. The building has a typical floor plate of approximately 1,256 tsubo (approx. 137,500 sq. ft.), making it larger than JP Tower Osaka’s approximately 1,200 tsubo (approx. 131,300 sq. ft.) and Osaka Umeda Twin Towers South’s approximately 1,059 tsubo (approx. 115,900 sq. ft.) in the area around Osaka Station. Kubota’s new headquarters occupies the 15th through 19th floors of the tower, with each floor offering about 5.5 times the space of the former headquarters. The new office enables multiple group companies and departments to work on the same floor.
