SYLA Holdings Acquires Mixed-Use Building in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo

On June 24, 2025, SYLA Holdings Co., Ltd. announced the acquisition of the “Nishi-Azabu Chitose Building,” located in Nishi-Azabu 1-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo. With this purchase, the company now owns a total of four properties in the Azabu area, adding to its existing portfolio of three. The newly acquired asset is a seven-story steel-reinforced concrete building (five floors above ground and two below) with a gross floor area of approximately 303 tsubo (approx. 10,000 sq. ft.). Completed in 1988, the property offers high versatility, supporting both office and retail use. It also enjoys strong locational advantages, situated near the Nishi-Azabu intersection, adjacent to the high-demand Roppongi and Aoyama districts.

SYLA Group recently sold four “SYFORME” branded residential buildings to a BlackRock-affiliated private fund. Meanwhile, it completed its first office development, “SYLA TOYOCHO,” and launched a vacation villa investment project in Hakone through its crowdfunding platform “Rimawarikun.” These strategic moves signal the firm’s continued diversification across asset classes—residential, hospitality, and office—while expanding its fundraising capabilities and reinforcing its cash flow foundation.

Commenting on the acquisition, SYLA stated its commitment to “stable asset building and value enhancement through the acquisition and operation of income-producing real estate in central Tokyo.” The company continues to pursue corporate value growth by integrating real estate, construction, proptech, and renewable energy across its business lines.
