Aizumi Jutaku Breaks Ground on Rental Apartment Building in Meguro Ward

Aizumi Jutaku, a subsidiary of Daiwa House Industry, has broken ground on a rental apartment building in Shimo-Meguro, Meguro Ward, Tokyo, called “Kari) Yutenji Project.” The site is about a two-minute walk from Yutenji Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, and the project will consist of a five-story reinforced concrete building with a total of 15 units. Completion is scheduled for June 2027.

The property will offer two unit types, 1LDK (four units) and 2LDK (five units), and is intended to serve a wide range of residents, including singles, couples and families. It will feature flexible layouts that allow closets and laundry rooms to be arranged on either side. Based on a concept proposal by Tokyo-based consulting firm Imprem, the project is being developed under the theme of a “playroom for adults.”

The site is in an area that offers convenient access to central Tokyo, about six minutes from “Shibuya” Station and about 24 minutes from “Shinjuku” Station via “Yutenji” Station. At the same time, the neighborhood provides strong day-to-day convenience, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. For the company, this will be its first rental residence designed to pursue “Tai-pa” (time performance), and it expects the property to attract residents seeking a good balance between commuting convenience to the city center and a comfortable living environment.
