Mitsui Fudosan to Join Large-Scale Housing Development “Setia EcoHill” in Malaysia

Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. announced its participation as a detached housing developer in the large-scale “Setia EcoHill” project located in Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia. The development will comprise a total of 683 homes. This marks Mitsui Fudosan’s first detached housing project in Malaysia, its sixth residential development in the country, and its tenth project overall including commercial and logistics developments.

The project is a joint venture with major Malaysian developer S P Setia Bhd., representing the second collaboration between the two companies following Setia Federal Hill in Kuala Lumpur. The development site is located approximately 35 kilometers southeast of central Kuala Lumpur, with convenient access to the Kajang–Seremban Highway (LEKAS).

Phase 1 construction is scheduled to begin in July 2026, with completion slated for 2028. The gated residential community will feature EV charging facilities and smart locks, offering a neighborhood design that balances convenience and sustainability.
