KnowledgeWork Relocates Headquarters to Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower
KnowledgeWork relocated its headquarters to the 51st floor of Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower on February 16, 2026. The startup provides the sales AI product “KnowledgeWork,” which has been deployed at scale — serving thousands of users — at major corporations including NTT DOCOMO Business, Mizuho Bank, and Nissin Foods. In its Series B round in November 2023, the company raised JPY 4.5 billion, bringing total funding to JPY 6.1 billion.
The company was founded in April 2020 by Koji Asano. It employs approximately 300 people, more than 50% of whom are engaged in product development. KnowledgeWork focuses on AI-driven sales transformation and is positioning its platform to evolve from a “Sales Enablement Cloud” to “Sales Enablement AI.” In January 2026, it launched a dedicated unit, “KnowledgeWork X,” to support enterprise AI adoption in sales organizations, with plans to hire 200 professionals over the next three years.
The new headquarters is organized into two primary zones: a “Work Area” for daily operations and a client-facing co-creation space known as the “Park Area.” The Park Area includes “WAY,” an immersive visual experience space showcasing AI Transformation (AX); “ATRIUM,” designed for seminars and community events; “DINING,” which facilitates dialogue among corporate leaders; and “STUDIO,” a production hub for sales-related media content. The move reflects a broader trend among B2B SaaS companies to transform offices into experiential showrooms that deepen client engagement.
Rising approximately 330 meters, Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower is Japan’s tallest skyscraper. The office floors (Levels 7–52) have attracted a growing concentration of tech companies and R&D centers. Near KnowledgeWork’s new space on the 51st floor are fellow AI startup AI inside (48F) and Mazda R&D Center Tokyo (49F), positioning the upper floors as a cluster for AI and innovation. Floors 33–34 house “Hills House,” a shared amenity space of approximately 1,000 tsubo (approx. 35,000 sq. ft.) for tenant companies, designed to foster inter-company networking. Relocations by AI startups into central Tokyo Class A office towers are viewed not only as expansions tied to business growth but also as a strategic move to enhance credibility with large enterprise clients.
