Toyota Fudosan Acquires WeWork Nogizaka
Toyota Fudosan acquired the trust beneficiary interest in WeWork Nogizaka, an office building in Minami-Aoyama 1-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo, on September 17, 2026. The seller was not disclosed.
The property is a one-minute walk from Nogizaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. Completed in 1989, the building has six floors above ground and two below, with a typical floor plate of approximately 254 tsubo (approx. 9,000 sq. ft.). The company acquired the property based on its assessment that the highly visible location near Gaien-Higashi-dori is expected to attract stable office demand.
Toyota Fudosan established its Tokyo head office in 2024, launching a dual-headquarters structure alongside its Nagoya head office. The company has been steadily acquiring office buildings in central Tokyo: in February 2023, it jointly acquired the former Toyota Motor Tokyo Head Office Building in Bunkyo Ward with Mitsui Fudosan, and in December 2024, it acquired the former DENSO Shibuya Building in Shoto, Shibuya Ward. The company said it will continue to strengthen and expand its business in the Tokyo area.
