Daiwa Logistics Breaks Ground on New Distribution Center in Wako City

Daiwa Logistics Co., Ltd. announced on August 25, 2025, that it has broken ground on the Wako Logistics Center (tentative name) in Wako City, Saitama Prefecture. Completion is scheduled for the end of March 2027.

The property is located near the Wako-kita Interchange on the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway and the Takashimadaira Interchange on the Metropolitan Expressway No. 5 Ikebukuro Route, providing excellent access to Tokyo and other major consumer markets in the Greater Tokyo area. The building will be a four-story structure with a gross floor area of approximately 10,604 tsubo (approx. 350,700 sq. ft.). It will feature indoor truck berths on two sides of the first floor.
