Tokyokeiki to Relocate Headquarters to HANEDA INNOVATION CITY

Tokyokeiki to Relocate Headquarters to HANEDA INNOVATION CITY

Tokyokeiki will begin headquarters operations on March 23, 2026, in Zone B of HANEDA INNOVATION CITY at Haneda Airport in Ota Ward, Tokyo. The company’s current headquarters is located in Minami-Kamata, Ota Ward, but the relocation will shift its base to the Haneda Airport area.

Tokyokeiki is a measurement and control equipment manufacturer involved in ship and port equipment as well as defense and communications equipment. The company holds roughly 60% share of the global market for gyrocompasses used in commercial vessels. The move is intended to support ongoing business expansion by improving the operating environment and to create a more comfortable workplace for employees. While other manufacturers have been reorganizing their footprints—such as Toshiba relocating its headquarters from Hamamatsucho, Tokyo, to Kawasaki—Tokyokeiki will keep its headquarters within Ota Ward while moving into a hub for advanced technologies.

HANEDA INNOVATION CITY is a large-scale mixed-use complex that partially opened in July 2020 and held its grand opening in November 2023. Research and development organizations including Kawasaki Heavy Industries, RIKEN, and Fujita Health University occupy the facility, which also functions as a testbed for advanced technologies such as autonomous bus demonstration operations.
