Cosmo Energy Holdings Relocates Headquarters to TODA BUILDING in Kyobashi, Marking First Move Since Company’s Founding

Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. has relocated its headquarters from Hamamatsucho Building in Minato-ku, Tokyo, to TODA BUILDING in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, commencing operations at the new location on July 22. This marks the company’s first headquarters relocation since the establishment of Cosmo Oil in 1986.
TODA BUILDING serves as the core of the Kyobashi Saiku redevelopment project, featuring a hall and gallery, and offering excellent connectivity to multiple train lines via Tokyo, Kyobashi, and Nihonbashi stations. The selection was driven by the building’s high disaster-resilience, including its seismic isolation structure, as well as its strong environmental credentials—DBJ Green Building certification, BELS ★5, ZEB Ready, and, as of June 19, 2025, LEED Gold. These features support both business continuity in the event of disasters and the company’s sustainability-focused management.
The new office adopts an Activity-Based Working (ABW) concept, shifting from a conventional fixed-desk layout to a flexible workspace where employees can choose seating based on tasks and objectives. Features include height-adjustable desks, additional monitors, optimized natural lighting and acoustics, and abundant greenery to enhance biophilic effects—all designed to foster employee well-being and embody the company’s brand statement, “Filling up your heart.”
Aligned with its Vision 2030—“Changing the future of energy, supporting society with energy, and creating new value”—Cosmo Energy is focusing on expanding renewable energy, domestic SAF production, and hydrogen-related businesses. The move to this high-performance, environmentally advanced office underlines the company’s commitment to strengthening its corporate brand and advancing sustainability management.
