JALUX, Yasuda Real Estate, and Keikyu Launch Mixed-Use Development Project in Kamata, Tokyo

JALUX Inc., Yasuda Real Estate Co., Ltd., and Keikyu Corporation have commenced construction on a new mixed-use project, tentatively named the Ota-ku Kamata 5-chome Project, located in Kamata, Ota Ward, Tokyo. The development is based on a fixed-term land lease from Chitta Entertainment, the site’s landowner, with JALUX serving as the project lead. Completion is scheduled for December 2027.

The site is a two-minute walk from JR and Tokyu Kamata Station. The 13-story steel-structured building will have a total gross floor area of approximately 2,728 tsubo (approx. 90,200 sq. ft.). The first and second floors will house retail facilities; the third floor will feature 15 serviced apartments under JALUX’s L‘axe brand; and the 4th through 13th floors will comprise a 237-room limited-service hotel operated by the Keikyu Group under the Keikyu EX Inn brand.
