THE NEST Naha Opens as Flagship Property of Nest Hotel Japan’s Top-Tier Brand

Naha Nishi Tokutei Mokuteki Kaisha, a special-purpose company jointly funded by Mitsubishi Estate and Fujita, opened THE NEST Naha on July 15. This marks the first property under Nest Hotel Japan’s top-tier brand and replaces the former Nest Hotel Naha. It is the second property operated by Nest Hotel under Mitsubishi Estate’s development portfolio, following Nest Hotel Naha West, which was completed in 2022.

Located about seven minutes by car from Naha Airport and a five-minute walk from Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail, the hotel stands near Kokusai-dori, a major commercial street. The property is a 14-story reinforced concrete structure with a Gross Floor Area of approx. 15,622 sq. m and 366 guest rooms. Its top floor features one of the city’s largest heated infinity pools, measuring 22 meters in length, designed to attract a broad demographic, from families to business travelers.

Nest Hotel Japan currently operates 24 hotels across four brands, focusing on lifestyle-oriented accommodations with integrated cafés and banquet facilities. Mitsubishi Estate, with over 30 years in hotel development, continues to advance a multi-brand strategy through partnerships with domestic and international operators. Fujita served as both designer and contractor for this project, leveraging its construction expertise to deliver high-quality hotel development.
