Logistics Facility Completed in Ayase, Kanagawa; Chuo-Nittochi Building

LOGIWITH Ayase, a logistics facility that Chuo-Nittochi Building had been developing, was completed on April 3, 2026. It is the third property in the company’s LOGIWITH series. The facility is located about 3 kilometers from the Ayase Smart Interchange on the Tomei Expressway and sits within the Ayase Industrial Park in Kanagawa Prefecture, a location that can accommodate 24-hour operations.

The property is a four-story steel-frame building with a gross floor area of approximately 4,491 tsubo (approx. 148,463 sq. ft.). Each floor provides a regular-shaped layout of about 1,119 tsubo (approx. 36,992 sq. ft.), with an 11.8-meter column span. The truck court can accommodate up to 16 10-ton trucks at the same time, and freight elevators are positioned near the center of the building to optimize vertical cargo flow. The facility was also designed to allow for future upgrades to electrical capacity.

The Atsugi-Ayase area has seen active logistics facility development as a junction between the Ken-O Expressway and the Tomei Expressway. Obayashi is currently developing OAK LOGISTICS CENTER Atsugi, with a gross floor area of about 18,700 tsubo (approx. 618,182 sq. ft.) and scheduled for completion in December 2026, while GLP Japan is also constructing GLP Tomei Atsugi, with a gross floor area of about 25,700 tsubo (approx. 849,587 sq. ft.) and scheduled for completion in July 2026.
