Mitsubishi Jisho Residence has developed two rental apartment buildings in the Tanimachi 6-chome area of Chuo Ward, Osaka. “The Parkhabio Tanimachi 6-chome Terrace” was completed on Feb. 19, 2026, and “The Parkhabio Tanimachi 6-chome Cross” is scheduled for completion in early March. Both properties are located near Tanimachi 6-chome Station on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line and Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. “Terrace” comprises 120 units in a 14-story building and is a five-minute walk from the station, while “Cross” comprises 93 units and is a one-minute walk from the station.

Both buildings have adopted Mitsubishi Estate’s integrated smart-home service “HOMETACT” and DXYZ’s facial recognition system “FreeiD” as standard in all units. Via a dedicated app, HOMETACT enables centralized control of IoT devices from multiple manufacturers—such as air conditioning and lighting—and supports remote operation from outside the home as well as voice control. Since launching in 2021, the service has expanded to roughly 10,000 households and has been adopted by more than 80 developers and construction companies. The system also enables facial-recognition unlocking at building entrances and individual unit doors, balancing convenience and security.

The two buildings feature different design concepts. At “Terrace,” a custom-built entry wall incorporates domestically sourced wood-based materials manufactured by MEC Industry. The use of wood in urban projects has been gaining traction from an environmental perspective; for example, Shinagawa Ward recently saw the completion of a wood-hybrid rental apartment project developed by Dai-ichi Life Insurance and Shimizu Corp. At “Cross,” select units incorporate “Roomot MIXINK,” which integrates the kitchen and vanity, as well as the “Kanta-kun” gas clothes dryer—enhancing space efficiency in studio layouts.
