Tosei Acquires Former BICCS Headquarters Office Building in Tokyo’s Tachikawa Area
Tosei Corporation has acquired an office building in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, with the seller being Blue Impact from Toyama City. The property was originally developed as the headquarters building for advertising company BICCS, completed in 2008, and is located about a 7-minute walk from both the JR Chuo Line and Tama Monorail “Tachikawa” Station.
The office building is a 7-story reinforced concrete structure with a gross floor area of approximately 310 tsubo (approx. 10,240 sq. ft.).
This transaction follows a previous sale in September 2024, when BICCS sold the property to Blue Impact prior to entering bankruptcy proceedings; Tosei’s acquisition reflects its continued investment focus around the Tachikawa area, where it already owns other office assets including Tachikawa Crest Building and Tachikawa Tosei Building VII.
Tosei has positioned Tachikawa as a core investment area within the Tama region, anticipating stable office demand supported by the city’s transportation connectivity and evolving commercial landscape.
