SENKO Group Opens Largest-Ever Logistics Hub in Saitama, Adding 81,000 SQM of Floor Space

SENKO Group Holdings announced on August 7, 2025, the completion of the SENKO Group Urawa Logistics Center, the largest logistics hub in the Group’s history, located in Midori Ward, Saitama City.
The property is situated in the Daimon area adjacent to the Urawa Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway, approximately 30 kilometers from central Tokyo, making it well-suited for wide-area distribution. The reinforced concrete and steel-framed, eight-story building offers a gross floor area of approximately 24,500 tsubo (approx. 80,992 sq. m). The facility’s cold storage area features an automated warehouse with a height of about 35 meters, designed to capture demand from mass retailers, e-commerce, and cold chain logistics.
SENKO Group Holdings developed the facility to accommodate increased shipment volumes to the Tokyo metropolitan area, particularly for mass retailers, in response to growing demand across its logistics network in the Saitama region. The center will be jointly operated by SENKO Co., Ltd. and Runtec Corporation.
