ispace to Relocate Headquarters to Nihonbashi Honcho M-SQUARE, Consolidating Tokyo Operations

ispace will relocate its headquarters on March 9, 2026, to Nihonbashi Honcho M-SQUARE in Chuo Ward, Tokyo. The move will consolidate office functions that had been dispersed across multiple locations within Tokyo, creating a unified setup capable of accommodating the entire Japan-based team.

The company is a space startup focused on lunar resource development, operating across three locations in Japan, Luxembourg, and the United States. In December 2020, ispace opened a mission control center in Nihonbashi, followed by the relocation of its headquarters to Nihonbashi Hamacho in February 2021. For approximately five years, the company advanced its private lunar exploration program, “HAKUTO-R,” under a distributed structure separating development, corporate, and mission operations functions. During this period, the Japan organization expanded to approximately 190 employees—about 1.7 times its size at that time—and the company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in April 2023.

At the new headquarters on the sixth floor of Nihonbashi Honcho M-SQUARE, ispace will establish a new mission control center, along with dedicated spaces for payload customers, external communications, and research and development. The relocation is expected to enhance cross-department collaboration and accelerate internal projects.
