Asahi Kasei to Relocate Osaka Office to JP Tower Osaka in February 2026
Asahi Kasei will relocate its Osaka office from Nakanoshima Daibiru to JP Tower Osaka in February 2026. Operations at the current location will conclude on January 30, 2026, and business at the new office is scheduled to begin on February 2.
JP Tower Osaka offers excellent transit accessibility, located just a one-minute walk from JR Osaka Station. The building is also within walking distance of JR Tozai Line’s Kitashinchi Station, multiple Osaka Metro lines, and Hankyu and Hanshin railway lines. The group’s main reception area will be located on the 26th floor.
The relocation covers Asahi Kasei Corporation and its operating companies (excluding Asahi Kasei Homes), along with several affiliated entities. The Asahi Kasei Group operates across three sectors—Materials, Homes, and Health Care—and aims to enhance operational agility by consolidating its externally facing functions in a location adjacent to a major transit hub.
In the Umeda area, the development of large-scale mixed-use buildings has accelerated in recent years, prompting relocations of corporate headquarters and regional offices. With the area’s strong position as a major transportation node and ongoing office renewal demand, more companies are consolidating into highly accessible locations.
