MITSUBISHI ESTATE CO., LTD. Breaks Ground on BTS Logistics Facility in Yokosuka

MITSUBISHI ESTATE CO., LTD. broke ground on LogiCross Yokosuka, a built-to-suit logistics facility in Natsushimacho, Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, on April 3, 2026. The project is being developed as a dedicated facility based on the needs of a specific tenant, with completion scheduled for March 31, 2027. To meet the tenant’s request for early delivery, the company is adopting a system-built construction method for the first time and plans to complete and hand over the facility within one year of groundbreaking.
The facility is planned as a steel-frame warehouse with a Gross Floor Area of approximately 4,410 tsubo (approx. 156,924 sq. ft.), comprising one story above ground with a partial second floor. It is designed as a single-story warehouse with double-loaded truck berths. The site area is approximately 6,880 tsubo (approx. 244,811 sq. ft.). The property offers strong access to major roads, located about 5.3 kilometers from Zushi IC on the Yokohama-Yokosuka Road and about 1.6 kilometers from National Route 16. In addition to a planned six-star BELS rating, the facility is also expected to obtain ZEB certification, and rooftop solar power generation equipment will be installed.
