Kanden Realty & Development, NTT Urban Development, and Sumitomo Corporation File Environmental Impact Assessment for Major Condominium Project in Osaka’s Nakanoshima District

Kanden Realty & Development Co., Ltd., NTT Urban Development Corporation, and Sumitomo Corporation submitted a draft environmental impact assessment to the City of Osaka on August 21 for their planned condominium development, tentatively named the “Nakanoshima 5-Chome Project.”

The site is located adjacent to Nakanoshima Station on the Keihan Nakanoshima Line. The large-scale project is planned to exceed 100,000 square meters of gross floor area and rise over 150 meters in height. The developers aim to enhance land use efficiency and contribute to revitalizing the Nakanoshima area, while creating an attractive façade, landscaped grounds, and a safe, comfortable urban residential environment.
