Daiwa House Industry to Build GPU-Equipped Modular Data Center Showroom in Fukushima

Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. will design and construct a GPU server–equipped data center showroom, “Module DPDC Fukushima,” in Okuma Town, Futaba District, Fukushima Prefecture. The project is being developed by Ties AI Inc., with RUTILEA Inc. scheduled to occupy the facility as a tenant. Construction will commence on January 7, 2026, through a three-party collaboration, with completion targeted for April 30, 2026.

The facility will serve as the first deployment of Daiwa House Industry’s modular data center product, “Module DPDC.” The single-story, steel-framed building will have a site area of approximately 454 tsubo (approx. 16,160 sq. ft.) and a gross floor area of approximately 60 tsubo (approx. 2,135 sq. ft.). Beginning in early May 2026, the showroom is scheduled to open to domestic and international companies, research institutions, and other organizations.

Daiwa House Industry is strengthening its presence in the data center sector, aiming to enter the market through a modular approach that enables shorter construction timelines and lower costs. As demand for AI-related infrastructure continues to expand, interest in data centers equipped with GPU servers is rising. The Fukushima facility is expected to function as a proposal and demonstration hub for clients, showcasing operational equipment in a permanent showroom setting—an uncommon format in an industry where exhibitions and pre-registration site tours are the norm.

The location in Okuma Town aligns with the municipality’s efforts to build new industrial foundations under its Third Reconstruction Plan, formulated in January 2024, as part of ongoing recovery initiatives following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
