Sogo Housing, Marubeni Urban Development Acquire Office Building in Tokyo's Shin-Koenji Area
Sogo Housing Co., Ltd. and Marubeni Urban Development Co., Ltd. acquired Shin-Koenji Dai-ichi Life Building, an office building in Umesato, Suginami Ward, Tokyo, from Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, Limited, in March 2026. Sogo Housing holds a 70% interest and Marubeni Urban Development holds a 30% interest.
The property is located along Ome-Kaido Avenue, a two-minute walk from Shin-Koenji Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. The building has five above-ground floors, was completed in 1991, and has a Gross Floor Area of approximately 557 tsubo (approx. 19,800 sq. ft.).
Both Sogo Housing and Marubeni Urban Development are subsidiaries of Dai-Ichi Life Marubeni Real Estate, which was established in July 2025 through the integration of the domestic real estate businesses of Dai-ichi Life Holdings and Marubeni, and both companies are engaged in real estate development, ownership, and leasing.
