CRE Completes Logistics Facility in Atsugi City
CRE has completed development of the logistics facility “LogiSquare Atsugi Minami” in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, on January 31, 2026. Ahead of completion, the company signed a master lease for the entire building with UDL, a third-party logistics (3PL) provider, and the facility will begin operations in February.
The facility is a steel-frame, four-story building with a site area of approx. 2,133 tsubo (approx. 7,610 sq. ft.) and a Gross Floor Area of approx. 4,398 tsubo (approx. 15,680 sq. ft.). It is designed to accommodate 11 trucks simultaneously at its loading berths. Suzuya Construction served as the design-build contractor.
On the sustainability front, the property received the highest rating—six stars—under Japan’s Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS). The company also plans to install a solar power generation system to further advance its decarbonization initiatives.
CRE positions itself as a platform provider that handles the full lifecycle of logistics facilities—from development through operations and property management—and said it achieved fully leased occupancy prior to completion by building ongoing relationships with 3PL operators. According to the company’s press release, its recent developments have also maintained a high level of pre-leasing, including “LogiSquare Kyotanabe A” (completed February 2025; approx. 47,000 tsubo (approx. 167,860 sq. ft.); 100% committed) and “LogiSquare Nagoya Minato” (completed December 2025; approx. 15,000 tsubo (approx. 53,570 sq. ft.); approx. 75% committed).
