Nikkiso To Relocate Headquarters to Meiji Yasuda Shinjuku Building

Nikkiso Co. will relocate its headquarters in November 2027 to the tentatively named Meiji Yasuda Shinjuku Building in Nishi-Shinjuku 1-chome, Tokyo. Its current headquarters is located on the 22nd floor of Yebisu Garden Place Tower in Ebisu, Shibuya Ward.
The relocation destination, the tentatively named Meiji Yasuda Shinjuku Building, is a large-scale office building directly connected to Shinjuku Station, with completion scheduled for August 2026. The project involves replacing the Meiji Yasuda Life Shinjuku Building, completed in 1961, together with an adjacent building. The new building will have 23 floors above ground and four basement levels, with a Gross Floor Area of approximately 29,300 tsubo (approx. 1,042,600 sq. ft.). Office space will be located on floors 4 through 22, with a typical floor plate of approximately 820 tsubo (approx. 29,200 sq. ft.). Retail space is planned for basement level 1 through the first floor, while the second floor is planned to include a hall and a childcare support facility.
Founded in 1953, Nikkiso is a Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market-listed company engaged in industrial specialty pumps, hemodialysis-related products and other businesses. The company had 2,084 employees on a nonconsolidated basis as of the end of March 2026. In February 2026, it announced its medium-term management plan, NIKKISO 2028 – Toward a Healthier World. The company decided to relocate in order to improve employee productivity and strengthen collaboration across organizations.
Other planned tenants in the building include HENNGE, a cloud security services provider that plans to relocate its headquarters to the ninth and 10th floors, as well as uSonar, a company engaged in database development. Around Shinjuku Station, the Shinjuku Grand Terminal concept is underway, with multiple large-scale buildings directly connected to the station planned for development. Attention is focused on office rent formation and relocation trends in the area.
