Sun Frontier Hotel Management to Rebrand Matsuyama Tokyu REI Hotel as Hiyori Hotel Matsuyama

Sun Frontier Hotel Management has announced plans to rebrand the existing Matsuyama Tokyu REI Hotel in Matsuyama City as Hiyori Hotel Matsuyama. Renovations will be carried out floor by floor while the hotel continues operations, with the reopening scheduled for April 2026.

Located just a one-minute walk from Iyotetsu Jonan Line’s Okaido Station, the 13-story hotel (with one basement level) will feature approximately 245 guest rooms and a gross floor area of 10,146.32 square meters (approx. 109,200 sq. ft.). The property will mark the fourth in the “Hiyori” hotel series and the brand’s first in the Shikoku region.
