Nomura Real Estate’s “Proud Tower Sagami-Ono Cross” Completed in October 2025, Move-Ins Begin January 2026
Nomura Real Estate Development has completed Proud Tower Sagami-Ono Cross (Minami Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) in October 2025, with tenant move-ins scheduled to begin in January 2026. The project is a large-scale condominium tower rising 41 stories above ground and three basement levels, comprising 687 residential units. Along the Odakyu Line corridor, it is the only newly supplied for-sale condominium of 40 stories or higher delivered since 1995.
The project is a redevelopment that reutilizes the existing structural frame of the former Isetan Sagamihara Store, which closed in 2019. The property is located a four-minute walk from Sagami-Ono Station, served by the Odakyu Odawara and Enoshima lines. The building is primarily reinforced concrete construction, with portions utilizing steel and steel-reinforced concrete. Unit layouts range from 1LDK to 4LDK, with unit sizes spanning approximately 33 sq. m to 125 sq. m. Construction was carried out by Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd.
Nomura Real Estate positions the development as a “community co-creation” urban project. Around Sagami-Ono Station, Sagamihara City has been advancing a “three-core structure” urban plan, establishing three hubs focused on commerce and transportation, commerce and culture, and place-making to enhance walkability and circulation. As a post-Isetan anchor development, this project is expected to play a central role in revitalizing the station-front area. Nomura Real Estate has been actively pursuing large-scale mixed-use redevelopments under its “Proud Tower” brand nationwide, and this project aligns squarely with that broader strategy.
