First Brothers Capital Acquires Mid-Sized Office in Tamachi–Mita Area
First Brothers Capital, a subsidiary of First Brothers, has acquired MA Building Fudanotsuji in Shiba 5-chome, Minato Ward, Tokyo.
Completed in January 1991, the property is a 10-story steel office building with a Gross Floor Area of approximately 143 tsubo (approx. 5,088 sq. ft.). It is within walking distance of Tamachi Station (JR) and Mita Station (Toei Mita and Asakusa lines). The seller was Mita Kosan, which had acquired the building from Ascard GK in June 2021.
The Fudanotsuji area—where the property is located—has drawn attention as multiple large-scale redevelopment projects converge nearby. In July 2023, Sumitomo Realty & Development Tokyo Mita Garden Tower (42 stories, 215 meters tall) opened at the Fudanotsuji intersection. Mita Machi Terrace (20 stories) is scheduled for completion in August 2025, and completion is also planned for 2029 for the Tamachi Station West Exit District Redevelopment Project (24 stories; Gross Floor Area of approx. 30,000 tsubo (approx. 1,067,490 sq. ft.)) led by Mitsui Fudosan and others on the former Morinaga Plaza Building site.
Hankyu Hanshin Properties is also moving forward with development of a mid-sized office building, Suite Tamachi, in the same area with completion slated for spring 2027, indicating that investment is accelerating across both large-scale developments and mid-sized office assets.
