Meitetsu City Design to Acquire Condominium Development and Sales Business from Yahagi Real Estate
Meitetsu City Design Co., Ltd. will, effective April 1, 2026, acquire Yahagi Real Estate Co., Ltd.’s condominium development and sales business through an absorption-type company split. On the same date, Meitetsu Community Life Co., Ltd. will acquire the condominium property management business from Yahagi Building & Life Co., Ltd. Through these transactions, the Meitetsu Urban Development Group will establish an integrated platform covering land acquisition, development, sales, and property management.
Yahagi Real Estate has operated its condominium brand “VANVEERLE” since 1989 and has supplied housing across the Tokai region for decades. As of March 2025, the company has delivered a cumulative total of 247 buildings comprising 12,902 units. Its core strength has been a vertically integrated model spanning land acquisition, development, sales, and management within the Yahagi Construction Co., Ltd. Group.
The Meitetsu City Design Group, whose flagship condominium brand is the “Meits” series, has supplied more than 622 buildings across the Tokai, Tokyo metropolitan, and Kansai regions. Through this business succession, the group aims to combine Yahagi Estate’s established Tokai-region platform and know-how with its own capabilities to further strengthen the supply of high-quality housing in the Tokai market.
