Tokyo Tatemono Begins Construction on Large-Scale Redevelopment at Keisei Tateishi Station North Exit

Tokyo Tatemono announced on November 4, 2025, that it has commenced construction of the East and West blocks of the Tateishi Station North Exit Type-1 Urban Redevelopment Project in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, in collaboration with Asahi Kasei Homes and Funenkousha General Incorporated Foundation.
The large-scale mixed-use redevelopment—combining residential, commercial, and government functions—aims to enhance disaster resilience and revitalize the area, where aging buildings are densely clustered around the station. Construction began on November 1, 2025, with completion scheduled for 2029.
The 2.2-hectare project site is located north of Keisei Tateishi Station on the Keisei Oshiage Line. The redevelopment will be integrated with the railway’s grade separation project and include the development of a new station plaza.
The East Block will house the new Katsushika Ward Office, retail, and public facilities, rising 14 stories above ground with three basement levels and a gross floor area of approximately 41,490㎡ (approx. 446,700 sq. ft.). The West Block will comprise 710 residential units and retail space, standing 36 stories above ground with two basement levels and a gross floor area of approximately 82,170㎡ (approx. 884,300 sq. ft.).
Design and supervision are handled by Nihon Sekkei for the East Block and Sumitomo Mitsui Construction for the West Block, while the station plaza design is led by Tonichi Tonichi Engineering Consultants.
