Mori Trust and NTT Urban Development announced on October 15, 2025, the completion of Phase II of Tokyo World Gate Akasaka. The project is a large-scale mixed-use development certified under Japan’s National Strategic Special Zone framework. With the completion of this phase, approximately 1,694 tsubo (approx. 56,000 sq. ft.) of green space within the district has been fully developed.

The office component has achieved a pre-leasing rate exceeding 95%, with tenants beginning to move in.

Located in Akasaka 2-chome, the project offers direct underground connections to Tameike-sanno Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza and Namboku lines, as well as Kokkai-gijidomae Station on the Chiyoda and Marunouchi lines. The total gross floor area of the entire district is about 71,400 tsubo (approx. 2.36 million sq. ft.). Its centerpiece, the Akasaka Trust Tower, rises 43 stories above ground with three basement levels, encompassing approximately 63,220 tsubo (approx. 2.09 million sq. ft.) of gross floor area.The 1 Hotel Tokyo and the residential component are scheduled to open this winter, while retail spaces will begin opening in stages from spring 2026.
