Honda to Relocate Headquarters to Yaesu Redevelopment Tower in 2029

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced that it will relocate its headquarters functions, currently housed temporarily at Toranomon Arsea Tower and the Honda Wako Building during the redevelopment of the Honda Aoyama Headquarters Building, to the office floors of the Yaesu 2-Chome North District Redevelopment project in 2029.

The relocation site is part of the large-scale redevelopment led by Mitsui Fudosan and others, featuring a 43-story high-rise office tower with a gross floor area of approximately 117,760 tsubo (approx. 389,400 sq. ft.). Yaesu is historically significant for Honda, as it was the company’s first entry point into Tokyo.

Honda also announced that the Aoyama headquarters site will undergo joint redevelopment with Mitsui Fudosan Residential, to which Honda has transferred part of its ownership rights. The company plans to continue using some of the floors in the new Aoyama building after its completion.
