Tokyu Land, Itochu Complete LOGI’Q Hasuda, a Next-Generation Logistics Facility Featuring Large-Scale Battery Storage and Drone Delivery Demonstration

Tokyu Land Corporation, Itochu Corporation, and Itochu Urban Development Co., Ltd. have completed the logistics facility LOGI’Q Hasuda, with a grand opening on January 20, 2026, in Hasuda City, Saitama Prefecture. The project features a substantial gross floor area of approx. 29,760 tsubo (approx. 1,058,450 sq ft) and accommodates up to six tenants in a modern multi-tenant configuration.
Strategically positioned roughly 1.7 km from the Ken-O Expressway’s Shirahama-Shobu Interchange and about 5.9 km from the Tohoku Expressway’s Kuki Interchange, the development includes a ramp that allows trailers to access the second floor directly from the highway. The facility supports a variety of logistics needs, with 116 truck berths and expansive vertical space.
A standout feature of the property is the installation of large-scale battery storage systems—the first in the LOGI’Q series. These systems store surplus solar energy for nighttime use, increasing the onsite renewable energy share. In collaboration with group partner Riene, the project also incorporates power market trading using stored energy—a forward-looking approach in logistics real estate.
Another milestone for the facility was a drone delivery demonstration on January 28, where cargo was flown approximately 2.6 km between LOGI’Q Shiraoka II and LOGI’Q Hasuda under Level 3.5 BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) conditions over river corridors in a populated area—a first of its kind in the Tokyo metropolitan logistics market.
LOGI’Q Hasuda also achieved top-tier sustainability recognitions including CASBEE S Rank, BELS 6-Star, and ZEB certification. Inside, the facility enhances worker wellbeing with a mezzanine-level cafeteria and fitness area equipped with massage chairs and exercise machines.
Looking ahead, the developer plans to expand the use of battery storage across its core logistics portfolio and to incorporate drone-ready infrastructure as part of its 2030 GREEN CROSS PARK initiative, advancing digital and sustainable logistics solutions.
