Hankyu Hanshin Properties Enters Condominium Development in Cebu, Philippines
Hankyu Hanshin Properties announced on October 29, 2025, that it will jointly develop Sakura Residences, a for-sale condominium project in Mandaue City, part of the Cebu metropolitan area, together with Juanito King & Sons Inc. This marks the company’s first condominium development project in the Philippines.
The site is located approximately 5 kilometers northeast of central Cebu, about a 20-minute drive away. The surrounding area features a well-developed mix of commercial, educational, and medical facilities. The project will occupy a 5,092-square-meter site and comprise two buildings with a total of 582 units. Completion is scheduled for 2028.
Hankyu Hanshin Properties and King have previously collaborated on two detached housing projects in the Cebu metropolitan area. Including this latest development, Hankyu Hanshin now has a total of 11 projects in the Philippines.
