Mitsui & Co. Urban Development Breaks Ground on Two Rental Apartment Buildings in Setagaya and Nakano
Mitsui & Co. Urban Development began construction in August 2026 on two ADDREA series rental apartment buildings in Kamikitazawa 5-chome, Setagaya-ku, and Chuo 3-chome, Nakano-ku, Tokyo. The two buildings will have a combined total of 117 units, with completion scheduled for December 2027 and September 2028, respectively.
(Tentative Name) Setagaya-ku Kamikitazawa 5-chome Rental Residence Development Project in Setagaya Ward is a five-minute walk from Hachimanyama Station on the Keio Line. The four-story building will have 45 units in 1DK to 2LDK layouts. Units on the north side will mainly be 1LDK and 2LDK units with private gardens or roof balconies.
(Tentative Name) Nakano-ku Chuo 3-chome Rental Residence Development Project in Nakano Ward is an eight-minute walk from Shin-nakano Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and a 10-minute walk from Nakano Station on the JR Chuo and Sobu lines and the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. It will consist of a 15-story high-rise building and a four-story low-rise building, with a total of 72 units in 1K/1DK to 2DK/2LDK layouts.
ADDREA is Mitsui & Co. Urban Development's urban rental residence brand, with layouts mainly targeting singles and DINKs. The company plans to develop nine buildings with a total of 415 units in Tokyo under the series by September 2028, and the first property, ADDREA OSHIAGE (Higashi-Mukojima, Sumida Ward, 32 units), was completed in July 2026.
