Hulic Reit, Inc. to Sell Two Data Center Assets to Sponsor for JPY 5.7 Billion

Hulic Reit, Inc. announced on September 8, 2025, that it will sell two properties — the Ikebukuro Network Center and the Nagano Network Center — to its sponsor Hulic for a combined total of JPY 5.7 billion.
Both assets were acquired at the time of the Reit’s IPO in 2014. The decision to sell was made in consideration of rising repair and maintenance costs associated with aging buildings. The disposition will generate a gain of JPY 974 million.
Looking ahead, the Reit plans to continue discussions with Hulic on transferring five additional data center properties in Tabata, Hiroshima, Atsuta, Sapporo, and Keihanna, based on a memorandum of understanding signed in December 2024.
