Hankyu Hanshin Properties Launches Fully Owned Subsidiary in the Philippines, Joins Two Residential Projects Near Manila

At the end of July 2025, Hankyu Hanshin Properties announced the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary in the Philippines and its participation in two new residential development projects in the Greater Manila area: the Alaminos Project and the Summit Project.

Both developments are slated for completion in 2027.The Alaminos Project is located in Alaminos, Laguna, approximately 70 kilometers south of central Manila. It will deliver 517 townhouse units on a site measuring 66,271㎡ (approx. 713,400 sq. ft.). The Summit Project is situated in Lipa, Batangas, about 65 kilometers south of central Manila. This project will offer a total of 547 residential units—132 detached homes and 415 townhouses—on a site covering 64,670㎡ (approx. 696,400 sq. ft.).

Both projects are located near several industrial parks, aiming to meet housing demand from workers in those areas.Since 2017, Hankyu Hanshin Properties has partnered with local developer P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corporation, delivering approximately 7,270 units across 10 developments in the Philippines. With the new subsidiary, the company intends to centralize on-site operations—from project sourcing to progress management—and strengthen its portfolio of overseas residential developments, currently totaling 63 projects and approximately 71,120 units, primarily across ASEAN markets.
