Hulic and CIM Group Acquire Florida Senior Living Community “Overture Hamlin”
Hulic Co., Ltd. announced on November 14 that it has acquired Overture Hamlin, an independent senior living community in the state of Florida. The acquisition is a joint investment with CIM Group LLC and marks the company’s second U.S. senior housing investment under its overseas business strategy.
The property is located in Winter Garden, a suburb near Orlando that is popular among seniors. Completed in 2021, the community comprises 180 units. It is operated by Greystar and is a four-story building with a site area of approximately 23,633㎡ (approx. 254,383 sq. ft.) and a leasable area of approximately 14,642㎡ (approx. 157,605 sq. ft.).
Through its joint investments with CIM Group LLC, Hulic is expanding its exposure to U.S. senior housing. This acquisition follows 1902 Park Avenue as its second transaction in the sector. Hulic plans to work with experienced operators to further enhance the asset’s value.
