Nomura Real Estate Completes Condominium in Front of Kobe's Tarumi Station

The Tarumi Chuo-Higashi District Category I Urban Redevelopment Project, which the Tarumi Chuo-Higashi District Urban Redevelopment Association and participating member Nomura Real Estate had been advancing in Tarumi Ward, Kobe City, was completed in April 2026.

The 32-story building is a residential-and-retail complex with a total of 315 units, comprising the Proud Tower Kobe Tarumi condominium and the first-floor retail facility Miruta. Of the 315 units, 276 are for-sale condominiums. Miruta will house approximately 20 retail and dining tenants, opening in phases during fiscal 2026. Located a two-minute walk from JR Tarumi Station, the building occupies a station-front site facing three shopping streets.

Nomura Real Estate joined as a business collaborator in January 2018 and, following approval of the redevelopment association's establishment in August 2020, advanced the project as a participating member acquiring the residential reserved floor area. Under its Tarumi Revitalization Plan, Kobe City is proceeding with the relocation of public and community facilities and the redevelopment of station-front spaces around Tarumi Station. Having already developed the new Tarumi Library and general-vehicle rotaries on the east and west sides of the station, the city also plans to renovate the east plaza in front of Tarumi Station, and this project is positioned as one of the efforts to renew the urban functions around the station.
