Nomura Real Estate, Tokyo Tatemono and Partners Complete 589-Unit PROUD CITY Kunitachi in Housing Complex Redevelopment
PROUD CITY Kunitachi, the rebuilt development under the Kunitachi Fujimidai Danchi Condominium Regeneration Project, in which Nomura Real Estate, Tokyo Tatemono and UR Linkage served as participating association members, was completed in March 2026, and handover of units for sale has been underway in phases since July.
Before the redevelopment, the Kunitachi Fujimidai Danchi complex consisted of five-story buildings completed in 1965, with 298 units. The rebuilt development comprises two buildings, East and West, both eight stories tall. The number of residential units has grown to 589, and the gross floor area has expanded roughly 2.8 times to approximately 14,520 tsubo (approx. 516,700 sq. ft.). The property is a nine- to 12-minute walk from Yaho Station on the JR Nambu Line and a 20- to 23-minute walk from Kunitachi Station on the JR Chuo Line.
The project is the first condominium regeneration project in Kunitachi City carried out under the Act on Facilitation of Condominium Regeneration, etc. In addition, in recognition of the redevelopment of a north-south passageway, the installation of community contribution facilities, the creation of sidewalk-like open space and a greening plan, the maximum building height limit was relaxed from 19 meters to 25 meters under the Kunitachi City Community Development Ordinance.
Tokyo Tatemono and UR Linkage also took part as participating association members in Brillia City Shakujii-koen ATLAS (844 units, completed in 2023), the rebuilt development of the Shakujii-koen Danchi complex (490 units) in Nerima Ward.
