ES-CON JAPAN, Chuden Real Estate Complete Mixed-Use District in Suita's Fujishirodai

ES-CON JAPAN Ltd. and Chuden Real Estate Co., Inc. completed TSUNAGU GARDEN Senri-Fujishirodai, a mixed-use district they had been developing in Fujishirodai, Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, at the end of July 2026. The project makes use of the former site of the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, with a site area of approximately 20,000 tsubo. It comprises a retail area with a supermarket, drugstore, restaurants, medical clinics, and a dispensing pharmacy, as well as a licensed nursery school, a park, condominiums, and detached houses.

ES-CON JAPAN acquired the site in 2020 and opened the retail district in 2023. The condominium development Le Jade City Senri-Fujishirodai comprises four buildings with 642 units in total; the South Residence and East Residence were completed in August 2024, and the Center Residence and West Residence were completed in January 2026. All units sold out on July 5, 2026.

The two companies developed the district as a multigenerational compact city providing the functions needed for daily life within the neighborhood. Leveraging ICT, IoT, and big data, they built an environment in which residents can use their own devices to check congestion levels at retail facilities and shared spaces, remotely operate equipment, and use shared services.

ES-CON JAPAN has previously undertaken large-scale mixed-use developments, including the approximately 49-hectare Fukuoka Kasuga Project in Fukuoka Prefecture, which integrated retail, medical and welfare facilities, and detached housing, and ES-CON CITY Tsukuba, which combines retail facilities, offices, and condominiums near Tsukuba Station. In this project, the company has formed a new living hub in the northern part of Senri New Town, an area whose access to central Osaka improved with the 2024 extension and opening of the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line.
