Mitsui Fudosan Residential To Develop Condominium Tower in Nagoya’s Sakae

Mitsui Fudosan Residential will develop Park Tower Sakae, a for-sale condominium project in Sakae 2-chome, Naka Ward, Nagoya. It will be the company’s first Park Tower-branded project in Nagoya, with completion scheduled for late November 2028 and move-ins planned for late January 2029.
The planned site is located along Honmachi-dori Avenue in central Nagoya, an eight-minute walk from Fushimi Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama and Tsurumai lines and a 10-minute walk from Sakae Station on the Higashiyama and Meijo lines. The property will be a 24-story tower residence with 95 units. Taking advantage of a site bordered by roads on three sides, approximately 88% of the units will be corner residences. Exclusive-use areas will range from 50.01 square meters (approx. 538 sq. ft.) to 161.43 square meters (approx. 1,738 sq. ft.), with layouts planned from 1LDK to 3LDK.
Condominium supply has continued in Nagoya’s Naka Ward amid population growth. As of March 1, 2024, the ward had 70,813 households, roughly twice the number in 2000 and above the overall Nagoya growth rate of about 1.3 times. The Sakae and Fushimi area is expected to see demand for urban living, supported by its concentration of retail and business functions as well as access to urban amenities such as Shirakawa Park. Mitsui Fudosan Residential aims to capture demand for high-priced housing that combines a central location with a residential environment by introducing its high-rise condominium brand in Nagoya for the first time.
